My boss made us do trust falls in the parking lot, then fired the guy who dropped her

Last month our manager Karen (of course) decided we needed 'team bonding' and made all 12 of us do trust falls on the cracked asphalt behind the office, which was already weird. But then Dave, who is like 6'4 and 240 pounds, actually missed catching her because she yelled at him to 'commit harder' right as she fell, and she landed flat on her tailbone. HR got involved after she tried to write him up for 'insubordination during a growth exercise,' and now I'm wondering, has anyone else had a boss who turned basic HR nonsense into something genuinely dangerous?

Whoa, that's a lawsuit waiting to happen! Trust falls on asphalt is insane, but writing him up for her own miss is next level. Dave's the real hero here, honestly. I hope HR saw through that nonsense and told Karen to chill. Good luck working with her after that mess!
