Hit 200 herbarium sheets this month, didn't expect it to matter
I was sorting through the stacks at the community college collection here in Boise and realized I'd pressed and mounted exactly 200 specimens since January. Counting them made me weirdly proud, but also showed how many local weeds I've been ignoring. Anyone else keep a running tally of their collection work?
That is such a good feeling when you stop and actually count what you've done, even if it snuck up on you. 200 sheets is really solid work, and noticing the weeds you skipped just means you're paying closer attention now. Keep at it, the tally is worth keeping.
