A mason in Philly told me my joints were too thin and it took me 2 days to redo a whole wall
He said they needed to be at least 3/8 inch for the brick type I was using, and now after fixing it the wall actually looks solid instead of like I was rushing through it - anyone else had to learn joint size the hard way?

Man I'd tell that mason to mind his own mortar business, but he was probably right.

Mortar business, I like that, one time a plumber told me my pipe dreams were unrealistic.
