Rant: I swore off powdered milk until my budget crunch last month

Turns out, it's not so bad in coffee and saves a ton of cash.

Gavin's oatmeal dinner comment brought back memories. Let me tell you about my financial low point, which was powdered milk in a protein shake. It tasted like regret but somehow kept the lights on.

Tbh that reminds me of my "ketchup soup" phase. Boiled water, a big squeeze of ketchup, and whatever stale crackers were left in the cupboard. Felt like a sad tomato bath but it was hot and technically food. Honestly thought I was a genius for making a "soup" with just two things.
