Serious question, I used to check my balance at the ATM every single morning and now I check once a week
For about 4 years I would hit the ATM on my walk to work in Cleveland every morning and pull a receipt just to see the number, and it made me feel sick by 8am most days. Back in January I switched to a cash envelope for groceries and gas only, and I moved the checking app off my home screen so I have to search for it. Now I sit down Sunday night with a coffee and go through the whole week in one pass. My grocery spending went from about $210 a week to $150 because I actually see the cash leave my hand. Curious if anyone else went the cash route and how you handle the leftover at the end of the month.
