Finally tried a monthly log instead of a weekly spread - night and day difference

I used to spend like 2 hours every Sunday setting up a detailed weekly spread in my bullet journal. Columns for each day, habit trackers, the whole thing. But I kept missing stuff or running out of space on busy days. About 3 weeks ago I switched to just a simple monthly log with rapid logging for each day. I still do my dailies but I don't plan ahead so much. The monthly view gives me a better picture of what's coming up without all the wasted space. Has anyone else found that simpler layouts actually work better for staying consistent?

Right, because who needs to actually see their week when you can just squint real hard at a whole month.

You're speaking my language, @diana_moore75. I tried the month view once and ended up writing my appointments on a sticky note anyway because I couldn't see anything. It's like staring at a calendar that got shrunk in the wash. My brain just shuts down trying to pick out individual days from that grid of tiny squares. I'd rather flip through a few pages than suffer through that kind of visual clutter every single week. Your mileage may vary but I'm with you on this one.
