Lost my entire monthly spread after a pen leak ruined my notebook

Had a cheap gel pen burst in my bag last Tuesday and it bled through 15 pages of my A5 Leuchtturm. Has anyone found a way to save a soggy notebook or do I just start fresh and call it a character building moment?

Oh man, that hurts to even read. Fifteen pages bleedy mess? That notebook is a casualty of war now. Just call it a character building moment and toss it in the trash where it belongs. I've had a pen explode on me once and learned real quick to never trust anything that says "gel" on the outside. Save yourself the headache and just start fresh.
