My index is 6 pages deep because I keep rewriting the same weekly spread every Sunday
So I counted last night and my bullet journal index has 41 entries, and 19 of them are some version of "weekly spread." That's not a typo, that's me starting over every single Sunday because the layout from last week "didn't feel right." The real problem is I keep copying fancy spreads from Instagram, and those people clearly don't work a 6am shift like I do. I tried a dutch door calendar, a rolling weekly, and one spread with a mood tracker that had 31 tiny boxes I filled in for exactly 4 days. My friend Dana, who's been journaling for 3 years, looked at my setup and said "you spend more time drawing boxes than using them." She's right. Last week I went back to the plain original method from the Ryder Carroll video, just rapid logging with a dot and a dash, and I actually got stuff done for once. My question is, how many of you actually keep a weekly spread all 52 weeks, or do you just log daily and skip it?
