Vent: That coffee shop in Portland with the "aesthetic only" bullet journal setup

I stopped into this trendy spot in Portland last week called Daily Grind, and the owner had their bullet journal on display like it was ART. Look, I get wanting it to look nice, but they had like a full page of washi tape swatches and ZERO actual task logs. I asked the barista how she tracks her inventory, and she said she just "feels it out." Meanwhile I'm over here with a $3 notebook that's been through 14 states and has coffee stains on every page. Has anyone else seen bujo setups that are more about Pinterest than actually getting stuff done?

That "feels it out" approach is exactly why they'll be closed by next year.

Wait, you're saying a small business can't succeed without a rigid business plan from day one? What about places that literally started as food trucks or pop-ups and grew based on what customers actually wanted? Isn't the whole point of being small that you can pivot faster than a chain?
