Vent: Weekly spreads seemed like a hassle until I messed up

I stuck to daily entries to keep it simple. Forgot a meeting because it wasn't in front of me. A quick weekly overview would have saved the day, huh?

Tell me about it. I used to think weekly spreads were just extra work until I double-booked myself on Tuesday because my daily log had two different things scribbled in. Now I glance at the week every morning, and it's like having a map instead of stumbling around blind. Forgot a dentist appointment last month, same deal, just me and my empty daily page feeling dumb. So yeah, that hassle looks pretty good when you're explaining to your boss why you missed the meeting. It's one of those things you learn the hard way, I guess.

Holy crap, you actually double-booked yourself on Tuesday? That's so easy to do when everything is just scribbled around, lmao. I can't believe you had to explain missing a meeting to your boss over that. Weekly spreads sound like a lifesaver if they stop that kind of mess. It's wild how one messed up day can make you change your whole system. Your dentist appointment story just proves it's worth the extra few minutes.
