Hot take: I used to think a 'junk drawer' was fine until mine ate my car keys for 2 days.

Yeah that's the real test, right? I mean @emma72 you hit the nail on the head, the dividers are pointless if you just pile junk on top. For me, it only worked when I made the rule that if something doesn't fit in a section, it doesn't belong in the box at all. So now if I'm in a hurry and try to toss a thing on top, I stop myself because it looks wrong and forces me to deal with it. The system doesn't run itself, but the visual clutter is a good reminder.

Had to pick between a 28-inch bar and a 32-inch for a nasty white oak removal in Chattanooga. Went with the 28, and I'm glad I did.

Yeah, Henderson.Mason has the right idea. That 28 inch bar gives you so much more control in a tricky spot. White oak is no joke, and in a tight removal, a shorter bar lets you feel the cut better and react faster. You can't beat the right tool for the job.

The day a coolant line turned my shop floor into a slip and slide

Just picture Carl's coffee flying up in a perfect arc while he's horizontal. I mean, that's a ten dollar latte funding a slapstick bit right there. Classic shop floor stuff, where a two dollar clamp failing turns into a whole wet-vac adventure.

A patient in my chair last month gave me the push I needed

Totally. Had a bartender tell me I looked like I was running from something once. Stuck with me for years.

Spent $75 on a board game to break the ice with new neighbors

But that's the whole point of the machine, right? You bought it for you, not for them. So what if your neighbor drinks tea? That fancy coffee is for your own mornings now. Letting one awkward moment ruin your kitchen vibe seems like a bigger loss. Why not just own it and make the coffee you love?
