Just hit $50k in monthly recurring revenue and I'm honestly annoyed
We crossed $50k MRR last month but I barely noticed because I was too busy fixing a server crash that took out our checkout page for 4 hours. Has anyone else hit a milestone that felt totally anticlimactic because of some stupid operational problem?

Flip it around on you for a second. Hitting $50k MRR means you built something that a lot of people want, and you're mad because you had to do some actual work to keep it running? That server crash probably cost you a few grand in lost sales, sure, but the fact that you hit the milestone means you're obviously doing something right on a way bigger scale. Most people would kill to have that problem - you're basically complaining that your rocket ship has a few bumps. Maybe the anticlimax is a good thing, it means your business is getting boring and stable.

Wait, hold on. "Boring and stable"?? @thea143, I had to read that twice. You're calling a $50k MRR business boring? That's like calling a goldfish boring because it's not a shark, I don't know. Look, I get the point about stability being good, but "boring" feels like a slap in the face to anyone grinding for that number. Server crashes are not a "few bumps", they're a heart attack in a server rack, especially when you're watching the sales counter freeze during a promo. I guess the anticlimax is real (I've felt it myself), but calling it boring is like saying your wedding was just "a nice party" or something.
