Just realized my best sales lesson came from a diner cook in Tulsa who told me to stop pushing the pie
Last Friday I sat at a counter in Tulsa and watched the cook sell out of pie by never asking anyone to buy it. A guy next to me asked what was good, and the cook just said 'the peach, but it runs out around 2.' That line got three people at the counter to order it in ten minutes. So side A is push harder and close more deals, side B is just say the true thing and let people come to you. Where do you all land on this for a small business?
