The wool socks I mocked for 2 winters finally won me over

I used to think spending $25 on a pair of Darn Tough socks was nuts when regular cotton ones cost $8 for a 6 pack. But after 3 freezing weeks at a trailhead job in Flagstaff where my feet stayed dry and blister free, I get it now. The lifetime warranty helped too, I wore a hole in one heel after 14 months and they replaced it no questions asked. Anyone else come around on premium gear after swearing it was a gimmick?

Ha, that warranty only covers normal wear and tear, not the heat you'll get for saying "no questions asked.
