Hot take: a warped face frame on a $70 cabinet took me two weekends to fix right
I built a base cabinet for a buddy's garage in Dallas and the face frame came out twisted by almost a quarter inch from corner to corner. I clamped it, shimmed it, and tried a heat gun twice before I finally broke the joints and re-squared it on a flat bench. All told it ate about 14 hours over two Saturdays for a mistake that was really just me rushing the glue up. How do you all keep face frames flat when you're working alone in a small shop?
