Found out my favorite fish tape is actually banned in 3 states
I was swapping stories with an electrician at a supply house in Topeka last Tuesday. He told me my trusty steel fish tape with the old-school hook end is illegal in Minnesota, Oregon, and New Jersey now. Something about the hook damaging low-voltage cabling in new builds. I've been using that thing for 8 years without thinking twice. Any of you guys run into regional rules that caught you off guard?
