Can we talk about how many people are quietly quitting their corporate jobs for trade work?

I was talking to a friend from college who left his marketing job in Denver to become an electrician, and he said 'my worst day with my hands is still better than my best day in a spreadsheet.' That really stuck with me because I've felt the same burnout. Has anyone else made a switch like this, or seen it happen a lot lately?

What's the pay cut like?

Saw a piece on the news about this stuff. They said a lot of places are calling it a "bonus adjustment" when it really hits your take home pay the same way. Like if you were counting on that extra cash for a car payment or vacation, you're suddenly short. Makes you wonder how they get away with the word games, right @the_ben? Feels like a cut no matter what they call it.

It's not a pay cut, just a smaller bonus this year lol.
