Hit 2,000 cold calls at my insurance job last month and something clicked

I work in sales for a small agency in Phoenix and just passed 2,000 cold calls since I started in January. Out of nowhere I realized the last 200 calls went way faster and I was actually getting people to talk to me instead of hanging up. Has anyone else hit a weird number like that where the job suddenly felt different?

That 2,000 call mark is the point where your brain stops treating each hang-up like a personal failure and starts seeing it as just noise before the next ring.
