Was sure my code review problem was a 30 minute fix. Took 3 days.
Hit a bug in our deployment pipeline that I thought was just a config typo. Turned out to be a nested dependency conflict across 4 different microservices. Has anyone else had a "quick fix" balloon into a multi-day nightmare?

You ever get that sinking feeling when day one turns into day two and you realize you're in way over your head? Yeah, been there - those "30 minute fixes" are the worst kind of trap.

Wait, how bad did the "30 minute fix" actually turn out? Because I had one last month where I thought I was just patching up a loose wire and three days later I had drywall dust in every single room of my apartment. It went from a simple screwdriver job to me literally crying on the floor at 2am surrounded by exposed pipes.
