Just realized my brother borrowing my chisels is a permanent loan

He always asks to use my good tools for his DIY projects at home. Every time, they come back dull or with paint on them. I spent last Sunday resharpening everything instead of working on my own cabinets. It's starting to feel like I'm just maintaining tools for his hobbies. I might have to start saying no, but then I'm the bad guy.

The coffee shop I go to has a community bookshelf and honestly that's the vibe we need more of. @ninamartin, I get the frustration, but I kinda see shared stuff as public property? That's the whole point. The trick is everyone using it with care, not pretending it doesn't exist. If you treat it right, it's a good thing for everyone lol.
