Warning: that 'easy' 800 sq ft condo job in Tempe turned into a 3 day nightmare
The subfloor was so uneven we had to use 15 bags of leveler before we could even think about the carpet. Has anyone else had a job blow up like that from a simple floor prep issue?

Ugh, tell me about it. Had a place last month where the floor was so bad we basically built a new one with leveler. Totally blew the schedule.

Feel that pain. Watched a crew spend three days just chipping up old tile adhesive that was like concrete. Every time they thought they got it flat, the laser level showed another dip. Budget went out the window before they even laid the first new board.
