Watched a guy stretch carpet into a corner too fast in Tulsa and it ruined my whole approach to tackless strips
I was on a job in Tulsa last spring helping a buddy finish a 3 bedroom rental, and he was rushing to hit his next appointment so he stretched the last room in maybe 20 minutes flat. The carpet popped right off the tackless on the far wall about a week later, and he had to go back and redo the whole room for free. Ever since then I always double check my strip placement and give myself an extra 15 minutes per room, even if the client is breathing down my neck. How do you all handle a homeowner or GC who keeps pushing you to hurry up?

That Tulsa story hits home, and yeah, a GC breathing down your neck is the worst.
