Overheard a guy at the parts store say 'cheap cars are like trees'
He said a cheap car is like a tree with a hidden crack - looks fine until you put it under load. Made me think about how I check used cars now, I pay way more attention to the test drive and engine strain than the paint. Anyone else got a weird analogy they use when shopping for beaters?
