Just realized I spent 45 minutes digging through my car for $3.75 in change

Was at the farmer's market Saturday and saw this guy selling honey for $12. I only had a $20 bill and some random coins in the cup holder. Thought I had like $5 in change but nope. Ended up digging through every pocket, under the seats, and the glove compartment trying to find enough to avoid breaking that $20. Counted it all out on the hood of my truck and it came to $3.75. Took forever and people were staring. Now I keep my cash in a specific spot in my wallet so i don't have to do that again. Anyone else have a system for keeping your change organized?

Man, I gotta say I kind of do the opposite. I've got a zippered pouch in my center console where I dump all my change at the end of the day, and over a month it usually adds up to like $20-30. That $3.75 you found, in my experience, that's actually above average for what most people have floating around in their car. To me, digging for change is just part of the game, not something to stress about. People staring at the farmer's market? I bet half of them were just jealous you found that much.
