My neighbor Carol told me to keep a $100 bill folded in my phone case for emergencies
I thought it was a bit much, but last month my car battery died at the gas station on Main Street and I didn't have enough cash for the jump from the tow truck guy. That hidden bill saved me a huge headache! Has anyone else found a specific cash stash spot that really came through for them?

Wasn't there a whole article about people doing this? I read one that called it "car cash" or something like that. They said the glove box is a classic spot, but that can be too obvious if someone breaks in. I keep a folded twenty tucked behind my driver's license in my wallet, a spot I always forget about until I really need it. It has saved me from being short at a cash-only taco truck more than once!
