Old lady at the grocery store asked if I was 'one of those cash people'
I was standing in line at Publix last Tuesday with my little envelope system, counting out $47.32 for my cart. The woman behind me, maybe 70 years old, tapped my shoulder and said 'honey, you're one of those cash people, aren't you?' I told her yeah, it helps me keep track. She smiled real big and said she's been using cash since 1975 because it 'makes her feel the weight of every dollar.' We ended up talking for 10 minutes about how easy it is to overspend when you don't physically hand over money. Have any of you had a random stranger get curious about your cash-only thing, or was it just me?

Man that's cool. I've noticed the whole cash thing is like the last little rebellion against how everything's trying to track and speed us up these days.
