Appreciation post: A trick for that stubborn rear quarter panel on a '17 F-150

I had to choose between fighting with a panel for another hour or trying a trick an old body guy told me. I used a heat gun on low for 30 seconds on the adhesive, and it popped right off. Anyone have a different method for stubborn trim?

That "trick an old body guy told me" thing is spot on. It's wild how often the simplest fix, like a little heat, beats throwing more force at a problem. I see it all the time when people try to muscle furniture instead of just tilting it right.

But what if the simple trick just doesn't work? I've seen people waste so much time trying to be clever with heat or angles when a good solid pull with the right tool would have been done in two seconds. Sometimes force applied correctly is the actual simple fix.
