@oscarmurphy nailed it with the "stupidest little things" bit because we always think the problem is gonna be something major like a bad PCM or a short in the harness. Tbh I wasted a whole weekend chasing my tail on a similar issue with a Civic, turned out the glovebox light was staying on because the plunger was just a hair too short. Ngl you start feeling like a genius when you finally find it though.

So you are really looking at about the same weight, not a big gain. The real difference is the R-value, which for the Tensor is around 4.8 compared to the Z Lite's 2.0 or so. That is why you felt the cold so much more on the foam pad.
