Just hit 300 covers on a Tuesday night and I'm still confused
We're a small neighborhood spot, and our average Tuesday is maybe 80 people. Last night we got slammed out of nowhere, the printer just kept going. My line was in the weeds for a solid four hours straight. I think it was because of that local food blog post that went up Monday. Has anyone else had a random weeknight explode like that from a single write-up?

Check the blog's analytics if you can. See if the traffic spike lines up exactly with when they posted about you. That would pretty much confirm it.

Forget just checking the spike. Look at where the traffic came from. If it's all from one social media site or a bunch of weird referral links, that tells you who sent the mob. Analytics show more than just numbers.
