Hot take: biking to the grocery store beat my car for a month straight

I started biking the 3 mile round trip to the store in Fresno a month ago and I've saved around $40 in gas so far. The big surprise was time, since parking and traffic ate up most of what I thought I was saving by driving. Anyone else track the actual numbers on short trips like this?
