My dad kept telling me to stop focusing on my personal carbon footprint and look at my pension fund instead.

I argued with him for months, but after checking my fund's holdings last week, I found it was heavily invested in fossil fuels. Anyone else had a similar wake-up call about where their money actually goes?

Yeah, that "awful stuff" is probably my retirement plan too, I mean idk.

That "wake-up call" about your pension fund is real. My credit union was quietly funding some awful stuff through their investments. It made me switch banks fast.
