Rented an EV for a weekend trip. Gas car would've been way better.
Drove a Chevy Bolt from Portland out to the coast last Saturday. Had to stop twice to charge for 45 minutes each. Whole trip took almost 3 hours longer than my old Civic would have. Has anyone else found EVs just don't work for rural routes?

Sounds like you got a real good peek into the future of road trips, just with a few more rest stop detours than anyone asked for.
