My buddy called me out on my poker tell during a $200 pot last Saturday
I've been playing poker with the same group of guys for about 3 years now, just friendly cash games every other weekend. Last Saturday, I had pocket kings on the button and bet big on the river, thinking I had the hand won. My buddy Mike just folds and laughs, then says 'dude, you always tap your ring finger twice when you're bluffing, I've known for 6 months.' I sat there feeling like an idiot because I never noticed that habit, and he said it cost me at least a few hundred bucks over time. I started watching myself in the mirror this week and sure enough, I do that finger tap thing every time I push a bluff. Now I'm wondering what other tells I've got that these guys have picked up on. Has anyone else had a random physical habit give away their hand in a clutch situation like that?

Wait, does he wear a watch or a ring that might make that tapping louder? I had a buddy once who would always straighten his shirt collar when he had a good hand, and we caught it after like four months. He got super paranoid after that and started trying to fake it, but then he'd overcorrect and we'd know he was doing it on purpose. The funny thing is, he finally just started wearing turtlenecks to hide the collar thing altogether, which looked kinda ridiculous at a poker table.

Wait, he wore turtlenecks to a poker game? That's commitment.
