Tried a last-second blitz in flag football and broke my own teammate's finger

We were down by 2 with 10 seconds left and I called an all-out blitz. Ended up crashing into our safety and snapping his pinky clean. Honestly, sometimes the clutch move is just letting the play happen instead of forcing something.

That sounds rough. Breaking a teammate's finger is a nightmare scenario that I'd rather lose the game than deal with. Hope your buddy recovers quick and doesn't hold it against you.
