Had a perfect 8-hour run last Friday at the shop in Dayton

Everything just lined up for once. I ran 127 parts on the Haas VF-4 without a single tool break or offset issue, which never happens for me. The coolant mix was spot on and the stock was clean from the supplier, so no chip welding or surface finish problems. Has anyone else had one of those magic days where you can't explain why it all went smooth?

Nah man you gotta watch out on those magic days. That's how I ended up bidding a job at cost once cause my confidence was sky high after a perfect morning. The universe balances the books eventually.

You ever notice how those perfect runs only happen when you least expect them? I had a similar day last month where everything just clicked on a Bridgeport, but then I realized I'd been running the wrong program for two hours. Still came out good though, so I just pretended it was intentional.
