I know everyone loves their Haas VF-2, but mine gave me a solid week of grief after a coolant line burst during a 500-piece aluminum run.
The shop manager said 'just patch it' but I spent three days cleaning swarf out of the ball screws before it would hold tolerance again, so has anyone else had a simple repair turn into a major downtime event?
Honestly it feels like everything works like that now. My car had a tiny sensor fail and the whole system shut down for a week. Or my home AC, a small leak meant replacing the whole coil. It's never just the one broken part, it's the whole mess it makes.
Yeah that's exactly how it goes lol. I had my laptop just give up on me last month out of nowhere. What finally worked for me was just doing a full reset, @christopherr95, even though I lost some files. Sometimes you just have to start over with these things, it's annoying but fixes the weirdest problems.
