Rant: That $400 probe package that failed after 2 weeks

I dropped serious cash on a fancy wireless probe set for my mill, thinking it'd save me setup time. Worked fine for the first week then started giving wild readings like 5 inches off on a 1 inch hole. By the second week it just stopped connecting to the receiver completely. Tried resetting it like 10 times, fresh batteries, nothing. Wasted $400 on something that looks cool but can't handle shop dust or vibration. Anyone else had a pricey tool fail that fast and got stuck with the bill?

Returned mine quick, @sethtorres, and demanded a full refund for the junk.

At least it doubles as a paperweight, right? (chuckles)
