inRemember when we used to mail out 500 flyers for every local event?
Funny you mention flyers. My old boss at a bike shop was obsessed with them, even when everyone just threw them away. The switch to local Facebook ads felt like cheating at first.

inRant: A job in a converted Portland warehouse showed me why you can't trust old framing to be square.
Yeah, "mud will fix it" is a classic line. I saw a guy try to float a whole corner once, looked like a funhouse mirror when it dried.

inA talk with my neighbor in Denver made me rethink AI safety
Sometimes you learn more by seeing how it runs first. The guardrails can be built from what you actually see going wrong. Waiting for perfect rules can just slow everything down.

inDAE chill their cookie dough before baking?
Helping them hold their shape is so true... I once chilled a batch for too long and the cookies baked up weirdly thick.

inJust saw my monthly spread turn into a scribble mess because I didn't leave enough space.
Honestly, penciling everything first can make it feel too stiff for me. Sometimes I just start inking and adjust as I go, like leaving bigger gaps for busier days. It turns out more natural that way, even if it gets messy sometimes. Messy can be part of the charm, you know? I've learned to accept the scribbles as part of the process. Tbh, over-planning kills the fun for me.
