That Tormach PCNC 440 I swore was a toy until I ran it for a week

I've been running a Haas VF-2 for years and figured those benchtop mills were just glorified routers. Then I helped a buddy set up his 440 in a garage shop last month and cut some aluminum parts for a jig. The spindle held tolerance within 0.001 inch over 4 passes and the tool changer didn't skip once. I still won't sell my Haas, but has anyone else found a surprise use for one of these smaller machines?

Yo anybody ever think about using one of these as a dedicated tap or deburring station? I feel like that would save so much wear and tear on your big machine plus free it up for real work.

Buddy of mine snapped three taps before he switched to a dedicated station.
