My Chemex cracked mid-pour after 8 years of daily use
Was making my morning brew last Tuesday and heard this little ping, then watched hot water and grounds run all over the counter. That Chemex was a hand-me-down from my aunt who bought it at a shop in Portland back in 2016. Anyone else have an old brewing method fail on them out of nowhere?

Dude it's just a glass carafe not a family heirloom, go buy another one for $40 and move on.
