Shoutout to the guy who told me to microwave my milk frother pitcher

I used to struggle so much with getting good foam at home. My store bought oat milk would always separate and I'd get these sad bubbly blobs instead of silky microfoam. Then a barista at a shop in Portland told me to microwave the empty pitcher for 30 seconds before pouring in the milk. It heats the metal just enough so the milk warms evenly without scalding. Tried it this morning and my latte actually looked like something from a cafe, not from my messy kitchen counter. Has anyone else tried a dumb simple trick like this that made a huge difference?

Honestly microwaving anything metal feels wrong but this sounds INSANELY smart.

honestly microwaving an empty metal pitcher just sounds like a good way to burn your hand.
