My comic binge sessions are giving me serious wrist pain

I spent all last weekend reading through my new stack of issues. Now my wrist aches every time I turn a page. It's wild how we ignore basic health for our hobby. Maybe we should start talking about fan injuries more. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of pain?

Seriously, I read somewhere that holding any position for too long can mess up your joints. Are you propping your wrist at a weird angle while you read?

Wait, are we supposed to read books like bomb-defusal robots now, keeping every joint at perfect neutral? My usual reading position is face-down on the couch, which probably bends my neck, wrist, and sanity.

Ever hear how carpal tunnel often comes from keeping your wrist still in a bent position? I read it's the lack of movement and bad angles that cause the most trouble, not just time spent. That post about propping your wrist made me remember that.
