Rant: I flipped a coin between two comic shops on Saturday and now I'm second-guessing myself
Last weekend I had exactly $60 to spend on new issues and I couldn't decide between driving 20 minutes to my usual spot in Tacoma or trying the new place in Puyallup that opened maybe two months back. I ended up picking the Puyallup shop because a guy at work said they had a better back issue bin. Big mistake. The owner followed me around the whole time and kept trying to pitch me on a $45 graded copy of a comic I already own, and their new releases section was a mess with stuff from a week ago mixed in. I walked out with just two books for $18 instead of the stack I planned. So has anyone else ditched their regular shop for a new one and instantly regretted it, or did I just hit a bad day there?
