Got a weird look from a boat captain in Port Fourchon last month
I was gearing up to do a hull inspection on an OSV and the captain yells down asking if I'm the new deckhand. Told him I'm the diver coming to check his rudder and he just laughed and said he thought I was lost. Has anyone else had people mistake them for deck crew or rig hands while suited up?

The guy thought you were lost while you're standing there in full dive gear ready to go underwater? That's wild, man. I'd be wondering what kind of deckhands he's used to seeing.
