My dive partner keeps snoozing during our surface intervals.

I end up doing all the prep work while he naps.

Yikes, that's a safety issue nobody talks about. If he's groggy from a nap, his focus underwater might be shot. You need a partner sharp for checking gauges or spotting a lost mask strap. The real prep work is mental, and he's skipping it.

Totally, I once dove after a big lunch and almost missed my buddy's mask full of water. That chill feeling can trick you into being careless.
