Question about the depth record for saturation diving
I was reading an old industry report from the North Sea and saw a stat that blew my mind. The deepest recorded saturation dive for commercial work was 2,300 feet back in 1992. That's deeper than I ever thought possible for a working diver. The project was for a wellhead intervention and the divers lived in a chamber for over three weeks. It really puts our harbor dives into perspective. Has anyone on here ever worked on a project that even came close to that kind of depth?

What kind of decompression schedule did they need after three weeks at that pressure?

Took us a full week of staged decompression to get back to surface pressure safely. Learned the hard way you can't rush it without getting the bends.
