Spent $15 on a USB drive to save a client's QuickBooks data and it died mid transfer
Picked up a cheap drive at a gas station outside Tulsa when my kit was in the truck and the client needed invoices off a dying laptop fast. It froze at 60 percent and the laptop shut off a few seconds later, so I lost the whole night and had to send the drive out for recovery at $400. Now I keep two good drives in the van, but what do you all do when the machine only has one shot left in it?
