Had a weird bleed water issue on a garage slab last week

It was a small pour in the morning, maybe 12 yards, but the bleed water just would not go away. We waited over two hours, which is way longer than normal for that mix. Turns out the plant had a new admixture guy who messed up the water reducer ratio. We ended up having to use a garden hose sprayer to mist it and then hit it with the magnesium float again. What's the longest you've ever had to wait for bleed water on a slab?

Yeah, a messed up water reducer will do that every time. @wyatt_fisher41, three hours is rough, did you figure out the cause on your pour or were you just stuck waiting it out? I've seen it happen bad when the subgrade was way colder than the air temp too, just locks all that moisture in. Makes you want to go down to the batch plant yourself.
