Heard a guy at the supply house say he never uses a curing compound on driveways
He claimed the sun and wind do a better job. That's a fast track to checking and dusting in my experience, especially on a south-facing pour. Anyone else run into this kind of advice lately?

Is it really that big of a deal if you skip it once? I've seen plenty of driveways poured without curing compound that turned out fine. Maybe it depends on the weather that week or the concrete mix.
