I used to think a quick cleanse was enough before extractions

Oh wow, did you ever have that moment where a basic step you skipped suddenly made all the difference? I was totally in the "one good cleanser is enough" camp for ages. Then I had a client with stubborn blackheads that just wouldn't budge, and I realized her makeup primer was silicone-based. Adding a micellar water as a first step to cut through that completely changed the game for me. The plugs came out so much easier and her skin was less red after. What kind of oil cleanser did you end up using?

A customer told me my torque wrench clicks were too soft to hear in a busy shop

Yeah, that "little jump in the handle" you mentioned, @seth_martinez21, is the real tell. Did you find you had to change your grip at all to catch that feeling better, or was it more about just paying closer attention?

Appreciation post: I thought the 'cold water only' hair wash thing was just a weird trend

Wait, isn't it just the final rinse that should be cold? I always heard you still wash with warm water to clean your scalp properly. The cold part at the end is what seals everything.

A quick chat with my old boss in the break room changed my whole job hunt

Honestly, the best move I made was ditching the skills section entirely. I turned those three things into short stories under each past job. Like instead of saying "project management," I wrote "cut report turnaround time by two days by organizing the weekly data review." Got way more interest.

The way I handle seized brake caliper bolts changed after a job in Tucson

Yeah, soaking them is key. I read a forum post where a guy swore by a 50/50 mix of acetone and transmission fluid instead of PB Blaster, said it creeps into the threads way better. Heated it just like you do after that soak. I've been meaning to try that mix myself on the really bad ones. The torch is a must though, that heat breaks the rust bond.
